Whether for homeowners, interior designers, interior decorators, architects, contractors, or property managers, Debsan offers a full service decorating center that includes: paints, custom draperies, window treatments, wallpaper and custom upholstering. In the flooring showrooms customers may select from unique hardwoods, luxury vinyl and traditional broadloom carpeting in both commercial and residential grades.

Debsan employs several decorators that work with customers as well as with designers. Fully trained, they know all of the product lines and they work one-on-one to coordinate a project from beginning to end, unlike with big-box stores where customers may have as many as 4-5 separate decorators who work with them to select flooring, window treatments, paint colors, fabrics etc.-making it very difficult to coordinate their projects overall.

Debsan’s chief assets, according to store owner Ben Greenberg, are its employees and their longevity. The store manager, Kathy McEnroy, travels from Mashpee and has been at her job for sixteen years. Dolly Lodi has been helping customers select wallpaper for over 50 years, 29 of those at Debsan. The window treatment installer, Steve MacEwen, has worked at Debsan over 14 years. Bryan Harrington, paint manager, has been with Debsan over 10 years.

While our customer base is largely from the Metro West area, Debsan also services residential customers, contractors and designers from Boston, Cape Cod and Maine.

Commitment to Contractors

Ben Greenberg’s approach with contractors is unique. He gets involved in mentoring them on how to be good businesspeople and he prides himself that he “makes them better painters.” He has also sponsored better-business practice seminars for them. Many have become very successful in their own right as a result of their relationship with Ben.
